I'm personally not a massive gamer but the same way my "not that into music" friends have a decent idea of whats hot in underground music I always have some sort of idea about what games are worth playing. In my two years of owning an xbox I have exchanged money for one game, that being Gears of War 2 and I actually enjoyed it. My attention span when it comes to games is normally around half an hour but I could actually play GOW for a long period of time without getting bored, especially horde.
The new Gears is sick to play, all the face stomping goodness returns and the campign is intense. I think the fact that I'd rather watch Judge Judy repeats says a lot yet I love this game. As well as Horde mode remaining my favourite thing Beast Mode is sick as well you can play as a Boomer, Ticker and almost every other enemy allowing you to fuck up COG's day. I haven't played the online multi player mode yet but I'm hoping it's better than the Gear's 2 online mode as that for me was the weakest thing about the game. Oh and if you die in Horde you can buy back in so you don't have to watch the whole thing if you die at the start. I don't actually own the game either so couldn't tell you how the game ends even if I wanted to. Deffo worth playing!
