Dj Nevermind - From Speedcore to Obliteration

This isn't a review, consider it me pointing you in the direction of a fresh and interesting listen.

Quickly becoming one of my favourite releases is Dj Nevermind's "From Speedcore to Obliteration" I can't tell if I'm playing this as a result of genuine love for the music or if it's just a more interesting than the grind/power violence getting pumped out that constantly fails me. Either way I am currently really enjoying these eight tracks more than anything else. The drum sounds used in this are disgusting and when the beats are pounding your head in it's hard to tell if you want to fight people or dance. Support releases like this and show artists it's cool when you do something fresh! Hopefully more acts will start following suit and stop trying to be the most traditional, boring, whatever genre they are trying to repeat band.
