Vampire Women

Maria Jose Cristerna, Trained Lawyar and Tattoo Artist from Mexico has really pushed the boat out with body modifications!

Maria says the constant beatings from her abusive marriage triggerd her transformation of having almost 100 hundred percent of her body inked, multiple piercings and titanium implanets under the skin of her temples to create "horns" claiming tattoo's became a form of liberation for her.


The mum of four has even had dental implants to create vampire fangs in order to further her look but claims despite her unconventional apperance she is able to live a very normal life.

Maria said: "The horns I have are a symbol of strength and were implanted without anaesthetic. I had the fangs done because I loved vampires as a little girl and I changed the colour of my eyes so they were how I really wanted them to be."

Gears 3

The only game I've ever been into (bar Halo) returns.

I'm personally not a massive gamer but the same way my "not that into music" friends have a decent idea of whats hot in underground music I always have some sort of idea about what games are worth playing. In my two years of owning an xbox I have exchanged money for one game, that being Gears of War 2 and I actually enjoyed it. My attention span when it comes to games is normally around half an hour but I could actually play GOW for a long period of time without getting bored, especially horde.
The new Gears is sick to play, all the face stomping goodness returns and the campign is intense. I think the fact that I'd rather watch Judge Judy repeats says a lot yet I love this game. As well as Horde mode remaining my favourite thing Beast Mode is sick as well you can play as a Boomer, Ticker and almost every other enemy allowing you to fuck up COG's day. I haven't played the online multi player mode yet but I'm hoping it's better than the Gear's 2 online mode as that for me was the weakest thing about the game. Oh and if you die in Horde you can buy back in so you don't have to watch the whole thing if you die at the start. I don't actually own the game either so couldn't tell you how the game ends even if I wanted to. Deffo worth playing!

XXXMas Party

If unlike me you can bare to spend long periods of time with your family and are able to pretend to smile for long periods of time then you might enjoy the always merry and generally gay celebration of Christmas.
One thing that looks like it wont suck this Birthofchristday is Bizarre Mags alternative xxxmas party which is going to be hosted on Saturday the 10th of the frantic present buying, cold month that shall not be named. The venue is The Scala in London.

It's set to feature a dirty Santa who will apparently empty his "sack" over you (witty) and spank you as well as "Dirty Tunes" spun by Hot Cover Girls.

Dj Nevermind - From Speedcore to Obliteration

This isn't a review, consider it me pointing you in the direction of a fresh and interesting listen.

Quickly becoming one of my favourite releases is Dj Nevermind's "From Speedcore to Obliteration" I can't tell if I'm playing this as a result of genuine love for the music or if it's just a more interesting than the grind/power violence getting pumped out that constantly fails me. Either way I am currently really enjoying these eight tracks more than anything else. The drum sounds used in this are disgusting and when the beats are pounding your head in it's hard to tell if you want to fight people or dance. Support releases like this and show artists it's cool when you do something fresh! Hopefully more acts will start following suit and stop trying to be the most traditional, boring, whatever genre they are trying to repeat band.
